Now I might just be tooting my own horn a little here but I like to think of myself as a bit of an expert when it comes to Noosa. To justify this claim.. as I feel I should… I’ve visited at least once.. sometimes twice each year since I can remember. It’s one of those places that every school holiday, pretty much all of Melbourne descend on the boardwalk of Hastings Street for a little sun to warm their cold Melbourne souls bodies.
Having stayed at almost 10 accomodation choices on Hastings Street I feel I can give an honest and qualified review. If you’re coming to Noosa for shopping, restaurants and the beach… Hastings Street is where you NEED to be. Hastings St consists of two sides ( like most streets do… duh) one that is on the beach and one that well… is not… and so the obvious choice is…on the beach of course and you would be correct. My choice of accomodation on that side you ask? Without a doubt Seahaven Noosa Resort. Having direct beach access from your resort is brilliant but the view of the beach you get from your room … well that’s something else, it’s the first thing you see as you walk into your room. Well really its not just a room it is a fully fledged apartment! With massive kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities in the comfort of your own place, Seahaven is the perfect spot to come for those extended stays. Sometimes on holidays I get sick of eating out for each meal…. oh I know first word problems hey?? but having all these facilities makes it easy to walk back from a morning at the beach to your apartment and grab a bite for lunch or even entertain a few guest on your larger than necessary but appreciated balcony for a bbq!
With the option of three pools to cool down in… yes that is correct THREE pools you really are spoilt for choice, but with one of Australians most beautiful beaches literally at your back door my “expert option” is to take full advantage of that while you can because like me I’m sure that definitely isn’t your everyday reality.
