Waking up at the Andaz West Hollywood certainly makes your LA visit stress free… just like it should be. It is centrally located to everywhere you will want to see or be seen 😉 It’s far enough away from Hollywood that you won’t have any of Johnny Depp’s characters harassing you but close enough that you can make the trip if you feel necessary. Although I do warn you drunk Captain Jack Sparrow can get quiet handsy …you laugh now.. but seriously. I suggest taking full advantage of how close you are to my favourite street Melrose Place (yes it is a real place not just a tv show). Grab your morning coffee at Alfreds and for all you Melbourne coffee snobs this will definitely suffice. If this day happens to fall on a Sunday you are in luck! Sunday in LA means farmers markets and Melrose Place is host to a great one all year round. However if not don’t worry you have shops like The Row, Isabel Marant and Chloe to keep you and your wallet occupied.
Although there is so much to see and do in LA I say take full advantage of all the benefits that are available to you when you stay at Andaz West Hollywood. In the AM there is free coffee and tea in the lobby and at night it turns into free wine and who doesn’t love that? Or if you’re more into relaxing in your room after a long and expensive day of shopping on Rodeo then unlimited free wifi and free non-alcoholic mini bar goodies are for you 🙂
When you feel the need to cool down from the straight 365 days a year of LA sun.. (I know it can get boring can’t it… not) you can head straight up to the roof top pool that has an unbelievable view of …well pretty much all of Los Angeles. The staff at the Andaz have the LA vibe down pat. Easy going and relaxed with the right amount of professionalism that you would find in any of the best hotels in the world.
With days played out like this in such a beautiful setting you would be excused for thinking you have woken up in a Hollywood movie.. and well I guess you pretty much have.
The Style Smith was a guest of the Andaz West Hollywood however my opinion is always my own.
