I don’t know about you but I’d had just about enough of seeing everyone’s Europe summer adventures played out all over social media these last couple of months, all the while I sat at home blasting the heater as my skin got pastier and pastier. This annoyed me so much so that I decided I needed to do something about it. A quick trip to Paris wasn’t on the cards / in the budget but the Paris end of Collins Street was (see what I did there 😉 ).  So last week I checked into the Grand Hyatt Melbourne for a little R&R stay-cation.

Lets just say that Grand doesn’t even come close in starting to explain my stay at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne. From the moment we pulled into valet I knew this was going to be an experience I wouldn’t soon forget. The porter helped us with our luggage and like magic it arrived in our room moments after we had settled in.

After a very quick and smooth check in we decided to take full advantage of the room service menu because after all no true stay-cation is ever complete without it.

Although a large hotel, the attention to detail was always there. From the hand written welcome note to the warm greetings from staff we passed in the halls it felt like a very personal experience.

Its little wonder this location is called the Paris end of Collins Street. From the designer boutiques to some of Melbournes finest restaurants right at your door step it would be hard not to feel like this little stay-cation had taken me off to Paris for a night.

The Style Smith was a guest of the Grand Hyatt Melbourne, however my opinion is always my own.
